How Does It Work...

Step 1:Give Us Some Info

We need your URL and any keywords or text you want to be included. Then, you’re done. We go over the order and begin to research bloggers that align with your company’s goals.

Step 2:Guest Post Writing and Posting

Once we’ve found a blogger that is of the right industry and quality, we create the guest post and include links back to your website. We work with the blogger to establish when the blog post will go live.

Step 3:Feedback

Once your guest post is live, we will write a thorough report, including the outcome of the guest post.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I provide when placing an order?

What do you mean by traffic?

The traffic we discuss with you is based on the traffic of the blogging site where your guest post will appear. In other words, we aren’t discussing the traffic that will make it to your site.

What keywords or anchor text should I use?

If your company uses an anchor text or key phrase, the guest blog post is a great time to use it. However, bloggers will typically delete links if they believe the links are SEO driven. We’ll work with you and your anchor text to establish in-content links that are acceptable to blogging sites.

If I choose Traffic as the metric, what is the minimum word count on guest posts?

The minimum word count is 500 words.

Are there any keywords/anchor text that you don’t accept?

🙅‍♂️ Here are the types of anchors that we won’t work with:

  • Geography-based keywords (OH, photographer OH, photographer in OH)–these typically appear as SEO driven, and it’s difficult to make these phrases sound natural
  • Adult, pharma, or otherwise grey niches
  • Sexual or Adult Themed niches
  • Gambling
  • Gun or Weaponry
  • Foreign Languages
What is Domain Authority (DA)?

Domain Authority is a score that indicates how well your website ranks on search engines. This score is determined by a number of things, including backlinks and the total number of links that your website contains. Domain Authority is on a logarithmic scale, meaning it’s easier to go from a DA10 to a DA20 site and more difficult to go from a DA30 to a DA40 site.

Will it still help my site’s authority if the guest post shows up on a website with a lower DA score?

Yes. Think of it this way: domain authority is a measure of how authoritative your website is. In other words, it’s trying to make sure your website isn’t fake. The more links back to your website, the more authority your website gains. In turn, this gives you a higher domain score. While links on higher ranking websites (let’s say a DA20) will help more than a lower ranking website (DA10), putting links on both sites will still increase the score of your own website.

What happens if a link goes bad?

The best part of Pattern Guest Post is we research, write, post, and track the guest blogs and links. For 90 days, we will check up on links and replace or fix them if they go bad. Although this is rare, we still want to give you that peace of mind.

How long until the article goes live?

About a month. Sometimes it can take longer because we take our time researching bloggers and reaching out to them manually. You’ll find other companies who can complete this faster (read: cheaper and less effective). We want to match you up with the right blogger so your links are on the highest quality sites. That means more traffic and higher rankings for your website.

Can I choose DA and Traffic?

Unfortunately, no. We ask that you choose one or the other.

What makes Pattern Guest Post different from other blogging services?

There are a lot of blogging products and companies on the market right now, but you need to be careful. Not all of them are created equally.

We make it a point to research then manually reach out to individual bloggers which guarantees that your links are quality, white-hat links on real, authoritative sites. Other blogging services actually own networks of blogs and will post to these instead of to individual bloggers. This creates a footprint which is bad news for your website.

Some services only include links to your site. We also link out to other non-competing authority sites to be as natural as possible.

We also work hard to make sure the article is high-quality written content. We focus as much on the writing as we do on your links. We also include links to non-competing sites which makes the blog post feel less SEO driven and more natural.

Am I able to approve the article before it goes live?

Unfortunately, we won’t allow you to read the article before posting. But rest assured, our articles are of the highest quality, for a real audience, on real, authoritative websites. Our customers enjoy reading the articles once they’ve gone live, and they love the traffic and boost in rankings even more.

What do you mean by blogger outreach?

This whole process starts with guest post outreach, and we take it really seriously. This is what makes Pattern Guest Post stand out from the competition. First, we find target blogs that have content related to your business, product, and goals. These sites must be real, they must be quality, and they must have good metrics (a high DA score and/or enough traffic). Then, we pitch these websites with article ideas. When we agree on a topic, Pattern SEO writes the article (which includes links to your website) and works with the blogger or website to publish it.

Should I choose DA or Traffic?

That’s tough! Give us a second to explain.

The first thing you should know is DA and Traffic are very different metrics but don’t necessarily work independently from each other. A website that has a high DA score can also have good traffic and vice versa.

For the most part, the focus has been on increasing your website’s Domain Authority. In the SEO industry, this is preferable because it boosts higher rankings and creates link juice. And usually a site that has a good DA score also has high traffic.

However, some customers want the ability to boost traffic which in turn boosts rankings on Google. The more authority you have on Google, the better chance your website will show up on Google.

We get it! It is important to us that you have the flexibility to choose what metric to base your website rankings on. Companies want to stay ahead of the competition and this often means using different SEO tools and strategies.

We want you to feel comfortable with your decisions and in the end, you will still receive a high quality blog post with links back to your website posted on an authoritative blog or website. No matter which metric you choose, quality is always key. 🔑
